Job Description

Mt. Shasta Ski Park is seeking friendly and efficient individuals to join our team as Ticket Sales Associates. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting guests with the purchase of lift tickets, season passes, and other resort products. Ticket Sales staff are often the first point of contact for guests and play a vital role in creating a positive, welcoming experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests and assist with ticket and pass purchases in a courteous, professional manner. Operate point-of-sale systems accurately and efficiently. Handle cash, credit card, and voucher transactions while maintaining proper accounting procedures. Provide guests with information on ticket options, pricing, and promotions. Assist with season pass sales, reprints, and verification. Answer guest questions about resort operations, policies, and activities. Help manage lines and maintain a smooth flow of guests during busy periods. Maintain a clean and organized ticket sales area. Communicate effectively with Guest Services and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service and communication skills. Comfortable handling cash and operating computer-based POS systems. Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Prior experience in customer service, retail, or cash handling preferred (training provided). Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in winter conditions when needed.
Compensation & Schedule:
Pay rate: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour, depending on experience. Seasonal position with both full-time and part-time opportunities.
