Retail Associate Location:

Mill Valley, CA, 94941 Muir Woods National Monument and Muir Woods Trading Company was originally established as a national monument in 1908 by President Theodore Roosevelt. The park was named in honor of the revered naturalist John Muir, who declared the site was "the best tree-lover's monument that could possibly be found in all the forests of the world." Cloudless Skies Park Company is a place for visitors to stroll and select products that have been procured honoring the legacy of John Muir. Our products reflect the conservation, sustainability and ecological identity of the site.

Summary of Position:

Are you enthusiastic about creating fantastic shopping experiences? As a Retail Associate, you play a crucial role in welcoming visitors and providing outstanding service. Your contributions will be vital in shaping the unique Cloudless Skies Park Company experience.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Team Leads to ensure products meet our high standards. Deliver exceptional customer service, embodying the Muir Woods spirit. Maintain appealing displays, keeping them fresh and inviting. Assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions. Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system. Contribute to daily opening/closing procedures and maintain cleanliness.

Requirements:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for positive interactions with customers and colleagues. Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure. Display energy and enthusiasm when assisting customers and fellow Associates. Dependable, always on time, and on schedule. Able to lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to handle general math. Minimum 1 year retail sales experience preferred, with familiarity with POS systems as a plus.
