Job Description

Job Overview The Living Room Collective is a curated antique and consignment shop in Mill Valley, offering a rotating selection of vintage furniture, altar pieces, jewelry, ceramics and artworks. Founded in 2019 by owner Suzanne Brogger, The Living Room Collective originated as a yoga and meditation studio. Through the years the space has transformed, though it maintains a mindful and intentional atmosphere. We're seeking a dependable, personable retail associate to run the sales floor and merchandise the store. This is a hands-on role where you'll be moving furniture, styling displays, and helping customers find pieces they love.
Responsibilities:
Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and satisfaction Operate Square and Venmo payment systems efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash register operations and cash handling Assist customers with product demos, upselling, and answering questions about store merchandise to enhance their shopping experience Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented through effective merchandising techniques Keep track of consignment contacts and consigned merchandise Lift and rearrange furniture and decor Requirements Able to lift, move and shift items up to 80 pounds Reliable transportation to and from work, must have a personal vehicle and valid drivers license, available to work 3-4 days a week consistently Strong customer service skills and communication skills Highly organized Previous sales or retail experience preferred but not required Background in art, antiques or furniture a plus
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
