Position Summary The Department Leader, Operations will inspire manufacturing operations to achieve timely daily, weekly, and monthly results in the areas of safety, quality, cost, and reliability while meeting department schedule adherence and attainment goals. Models Pharmavite's purpose, beliefs, and values for their employees by embedding the first-time-right mentality to reduce operational NCCAPAs and reject/destruction costs, promoting robust root cause problem solving/CAPA development capability within their team, and meeting schedule adherence and attainment goals to deliver customer requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead and set the standard and tone for the team by modeling Pharmavite's purpose, beliefs, and values while driving schedule adherence and attainment goals to deliver customer requirements and deadlines. Ensure productivity, safety, housekeeping, and product quality goals are met or exceeded by coordinating daily schedules across departments, maintaining the efficient flow of materials and finished goods, and monitoring shift operations to sustain improvements and reinforce a First Time Right mindset. Coach and develop team members by providing regular feedback, reinforcing expectations, recognizing strengths, addressing performance gaps, and supporting skill development and growth. Promote a culture of safety by ensuring safe work practices are followed and promptly addressing any unsafe behaviors or conditions upon observation. Collaborate with Production Planning, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Distribution, HR, Tech Ops, Engineering, Planning, Operational Excellence, and Receiving departments to expedite and facilitate the flow of raw materials, compounds, bulk, and finished product through the department. Serves as the point person to communicate shop floor issues to the Operations Engineer. Prioritize work to ensure customer, quality, and safety needs are met and/or exceeded, positively impacting production metrics. Investigate NCCAPAs working in partnership with the Operations Engineer and Quality to drive root cause problem-solving with urgency. Provide technical support for staff for equipment and processes (troubleshoots and develops control techniques). Represent the Softgel organization on key cross-functional teams and initiatives to drive continuous improvement across the Softgel department. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 4-6 years related experience in manufacturing/CPG, to include supervisory/leadership experience. Specific experience in the department to which applied. Lean Six Sigma Certification-IASSC Six Sigma and/or Lean/Continuous Improvement experience within 1 year Knowledge, Skills & Competencies Competent knowledge of SOPs, cGMPs. Experience working within a rapidly evolving environment, able to adjust to changing job requirements. Experience leading and coaching AM projects. Experience performing auditing in areas related to cGMPs and Batch Record Accuracy. Proficiency in Word, Excel, JD Edwards MRP, and PowerPoint preferred. Working knowledge in MRP, WMS, & radio frequency systems. Ability to lead delivery of required results in Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost each shift, ensuring that succeeding shifts are set up for success Experience coaching, developing, and building high-performing teams, including cross-training and empowering individuals. Ability to prioritize and delegate operational tasks and duties. General manufacturing environment experience preferred. Depending on the department assigned, the flexibility to work either 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend on an alternate date schedule, may be required. Physical or Work Requirements Performs work in manufacturing, warehouse, or production environments and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and repetitive motion throughout the shift. Employees may be required to operate machinery or powered equipment, wear personal protective equipment (PPE), work in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, moving equipment, or manufacturing materials, and lift or move materials weighing up to 25-50 pounds. Some roles may require overtime, shift work, weekends, or extended schedules based on business needs.OUR OFFER

National Target Base Pay Range:
$80,000.00- $133,000.00. The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and the New York metro, the Target Base Pay Range is $88,000.00
- $146,000.
