The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, strong communication skills, and experience in retail sales environments such as grocery stores or specialty shops. This role offers an opportunity to develop sales skills, assist customers with product selections, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse customer needs. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cashiering and cash handling Assist customers with product demos and provide detailed information about merchandise Upsell products and suggest complementary items to increase sales Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store layout is attractive and accessible Perform basic retail math for transactions and inventory management Manage inventory levels through stocking and merchandising activities Ensure proper phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via other communication channels Supervise or assist in supervising other team members when needed Skills Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures Experience in retail sales, including upselling and merchandising techniques Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory purposes Basic math skills necessary for daily operations Knowledge of grocery store operations or similar retail environments is preferred Bilingual skills are advantageous for serving a diverse customer base Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities Ability to conduct product demos confidently and professionally Excellent phone etiquette for engaging with customers over the phone or via digital communication channels This role provides an engaging environment where you can enhance your sales expertise while delivering exceptional service to our customers.
