Job Summary:

We are seeking full-time/part-time employee to join our team who is reliable and friendly person. Liquor store experience is not required; we are happy to train the right person. In this role, you'll help customers find their favorite beverages, introduce new products, and create a welcoming shopping environment. Your enthusiasm and product knowledge will drive sales and ensure every visit is memorable. Responsibilities:

Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service on the sales floor, and at checkout Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor and cooler areas Handle cash register, checkouts, and other administrative duties Daily opening/closing with sales report and process sales accurately using POS systems, including cash, card, returns, and exchanges Help and guide customers with product selections and answering questions Receive deliveries from distributors and stock them Verify customer age and comply with all Connecticut liquor laws

Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years of age Previous retail, beverage, or customer service experience is a plus Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math to accurately process transactions Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Ability to perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves, lifting boxes, and standing for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and available for evenings, weekends, and holidays Knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits is helpful but not required

Pay:

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
