Garden Center Retail Cashier We are currently hiring

help for our Fall and Holiday Season, approximately 9/1

• 12/15.

This position will be PART TIME, weekends are required! This is a physical position where you will be lifting up to 50lbs and standing for long periods of time. We expect applicants to be optimistic, outgoing, and possess excellent communication. Some computer experience is required but training of register programs will be provided. Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service to all customers by doing the following:

• Assist customers in finding and selecting products that meet their needs, process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and answer customer questions or making recommendations.

Maintain a clean and organized sales floor: Displays are rotated seasonally, products are kept clean and dusted, produce is rotated frequently.

Experience:

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required
• Green Industry and plant knowledge preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal
