Appliance Sales Associate JT's Appliance - Putnam, CT 06260 Full-Time | Base Pay + Manufacturer Incentives | Earning Potential $66,000+ JT's Appliance is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Appliance Sales Associate to join our growing team at our showroom located at 51 Pomfret Street, Putnam, CT 06260 . As a locally owned, family-operated appliance retailer, we take pride in providing exceptional customer service and helping our customers find the perfect appliances for their homes. If you enjoy working with people, building relationships, and earning based on your performance, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Do Assist customers in selecting appliances that best fit their needs, lifestyle, and budget. Build strong product knowledge to confidently explain features, benefits, and manufacturer promotions. Prepare sales orders and accurately process customer transactions. Follow up with customers before and after the sale to ensure an outstanding experience. Schedule deliveries and service appointments. Help receive inventory, merchandise the showroom, and maintain an attractive sales floor. Support daily store operations and other administrative duties as needed. Qualifications Previous retail or commission sales experience preferred. Appliance sales experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right candidate. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and email. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Schedule Full-time Monday through Friday Occasional Saturdays (approximately two per month) Saturday hours are paid at time-and-a-half.
