OF RETAIL SALES EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS

ROLE, and the ability to lift up to 40lbs. This role offers the opportunity to engage with a pet health and nutrition focused customer base and showcase the product knowledge that you learn. As a vital part of our team, you'll help drive sales, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain an organized and inviting store atmosphere. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or answering questions about merchandise. Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions. Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and processing returns or exchanges. Conduct product demos to educate customers on features and benefits of various items. Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly. Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely. Assist in merchandising efforts to create attractive displays that highlight key products. Support inventory management by participating in stock counts and reporting low-stock items. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

OF RETAIL SALES EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE

Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations for efficient checkout processes. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.

MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT UP TO

40lbs Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, stocking shelves and inventory management. Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations. Familiarity with phone etiquette to professionally handle customer inquiries via phone and in person. Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining customer satisfaction.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 10am-6pm

Pay:

$14.25 - $15.50 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 per week
