This position is ideal for a self-starter who is creative, organized, dependable, and enjoys working in a hands-on environment . The Print Shop Assistant will help with customer orders from start to finish, including printing, producing, packaging, and preparing orders for pickup or delivery. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to stay organized while handling multiple orders and deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Assist with completing daily customer orders from start to finish Prepare and organize files and materials for production Assist with printing, pressing, cutting, packaging, and finishing products Operate or learn to operate print shop equipment and machinery Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and presentation Organize completed orders and prepare them for customer pickup or delivery Keep the workspace clean, organized, and stocked Assist with inventory and notifying management when supplies are running low Help meet order deadlines and production goals Communicate with management regarding order details, issues, or missing information Provide friendly and professional customer service when needed Perform other tasks related to daily print shop operations Provide excellent in-person and digital customer service Communicate clearly with customers and team members regarding order status and timelines Assist with managing incoming messages and emails Social media support (optional, but a plus)

Requirements:

Previous print shop, production, crafting, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to learn Strong attention to detail Ability to follow instructions and work independently Ability to multitask and prioritize orders Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment Basic computer skills Must be able to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks Positive attitude and strong work ethic Proficiency in design software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) Customer service experience (in-person and/or digital) Prior print shop experience is a bonus, but not required Must be able to handle a high volume of orders efficiently
