Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist in maintaining the store's appearance, managing inventory, and driving sales through effective communication and product knowledge. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs. Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services. Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly, ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor by stocking merchandise and arranging displays. Assist in inventory management. Skills Background knowledge in hunting/fishing, outdoors, guns, tackle, etc.. Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment. Proven sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Competence in cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy and security. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Basic math skills for handling transactions and stock management. Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required.
