Sudsies is a premier dry cleaning and laundry service provider dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and customer satisfaction. We are looking for a reliable and professional Sales Associate to join our team and ensure the timely and accurate pick-up and delivery of our customers' dry cleaning.

Position Purpose:

The Sales Associate is responsible for the pick-up and delivery of customer dry cleaning within an assigned route. This role includes developing new business and ensuring the satisfaction of existing customers by managing customer expectations and account services. The Sales Associate projects the company's professional image at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the company van over the designated route to pick up and drop off dry cleaning. Complete customer order forms with requirements and instructions for all pick-ups. Contact prospective customers to gain new business. Operate the company vehicle in accordance with all state, postal, and company requirements. Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and timely. Maintain courteous and professional customer contact. Adhere to company driving requirements and policies.

Deliveries are completed accurately and timely. Customer contact is courteous and professional, maintaining good public relations with outside contacts. Compliance with company driving requirements and policies.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Defensive driving course (provided during training upon hire). Valid Florida driver's license. Acceptable driving record.

Required Knowledge:

Working knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.

Experience Required:

One (1) year relevant experience or any equivalent combination of customer service and/or driving experience that demonstrates the ability to do the job.

Skills/Abilities:

Establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, and the general public. Work independently. Make independent judgments which have moderate impacts on the organization.

Finger Dexterity:

Constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle, or operate objects or controls; reach with arms and hands.

Frequently convey details, instructions, or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.

Average Hearing:

Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.

Repetitive Motions:

Frequently and regularly required to use the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and walk.

Average Visual Abilities:

Requires close, distance, peripheral, and color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Physical Strength:

Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Shop Environment:

Exposed to various elements but none to the extent of being disagreeable. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet when in the shop and occasionally loud when in the field.
