Work toward defined sales goals with guidance from your manager and experienced sellers. Explore the industries and solutions that best fit your strengths. Year 3 Grow your customer relationships Take greater responsibility for accounts and your sales pipeline as your skills develop. Strengthen your ability to manage opportunities, retain customers, and win new business. The goal is to establish a foundation for continued growth in responsibility and performance-based earnings. Progression depends on demonstrated readiness and performance. We are looking for someone who sees value in the full three-year path and wants to continue building a career with SEI beyond it. The Director of Marketing will serve as a mentor for at least your first six months. Your development includes assigned Motorola Solutions certification training, direct feedback, and experience across sales, marketing, production, service, and rentals. Monthly updates to both managers will help track your progress and learning priorities. What you will do in your first year Keep customer relationship management (CRM) records, customer information, order documents, and task lists accurate and current. Gather information needed for quotes and orders, and flag missing details or delays promptly. Enter and verify assigned orders. Coordinate with procurement, production, rentals, service, and shipping to help orders move forward accurately and on time. Learn how equipment is prepared, programmed, tested, serviced, and processed after rental returns. Build familiarity with Motorola two-way radios, accessories, repeaters, and in-building communications systems. Communicate professionally with customers on assigned support matters, including outstanding payment follow-up under the Sales Manager's direction. Document conversations and route questions to the appropriate person. Research prospective customers, record useful findings, and support assigned outbound prospecting and marketing activities. Managers will coordinate lead assignments and sales follow-up. Represent SEI at approved trade shows, networking meetings, and customer events. You complete commitments, check your work, and communicate early when something is missing or delayed. Curiosity and coachability. You ask thoughtful questions, seek feedback, and put what you learn into practice. Professional communication. You listen carefully, write clearly, and treat customers and coworkers with respect. Focus and initiative. You organize competing priorities, stay engaged in daily work, and take the next appropriate step without repeated reminders. Perseverance and integrity. You stay motivated through challenges, take responsibility for your actions, and follow through with honesty and sound judgment. Technical aptitude and adaptability. You are curious about how technology works, willing to learn complex communications solutions, and ready to adapt as products and customer needs evolve. A commitment to learning. You are willing to master the support work and technical details that prepare you to earn customers' trust. Prior work experience is required. This role is suited to someone with approximately two years of work experience after college, or comparable practical experience. We look for demonstrated reliability, customer service, and responsibility in a workplace.
