Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and energetic Beverage Cart Attendant to provide exceptional service to our guests on the golf course. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, managing sales transactions, and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons. The ideal candidate will have a background in food service or retail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience with POS systems is preferred but not required. This position offers an engaging outdoor work setting where teamwork and hospitality are key. Responsibilities Prepare and serve beverages, including alcohol and non-alcoholic options, maintaining proper food safety and sanitation standards Operate POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments accurately Upsell products to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage cart, ensuring all supplies are stocked and properly stored Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any inquiries or concerns Manage time effectively to serve multiple guests efficiently during busy periods Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff Assist with light food preparation or snack service as needed, leveraging culinary experience or food handling skills Support other course operations such as bussing tables or assisting with event setups when required Requirements Previous experience in food service, retail, or hospitality is preferred; experience in quick service restaurants or cafés is a plus Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly Basic math skills for sales calculations and inventory management Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent time management skills to serve guests efficiently during peak hours Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude Prior experience in the food industry, restaurant service, or grocery store environment is beneficial but not mandatory This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to providing memorable experiences for our guests while developing valuable skills in hospitality and sales.
