The Sales Associate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining customer relationships, and managing the sales process from the initial lead through project completion. Previous experience in construction, paving, pavers, hardscape, landscaping, or construction-related sales is highly preferred. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and project requirements. Responsibilities Generate new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, cold calling, site visits, and company-provided leads. Meet with homeowners and clients to understand project requirements and provide professional recommendations. Take accurate field measurements and gather information for estimates. Prepare takeoffs, estimates, proposals, and supporting documents. Follow up on leads and outstanding proposals to close sales. Manage residential sales from the initial consultation through project completion. Coordinate with management and project managers to ensure a smooth transition from sale to construction. Represent the company professionally during customer meetings and onsite visits. Maintain accurate customer and project records. Maintain acceptable profit margins and meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry contacts. Stay informed about company products, services, and industry trends. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and referrals. Conduct all business in an ethical, professional, and customer-focused manner. Preferred Qualifications Experience in construction, paving, pavers, hardscape, landscaping, or related fields is highly preferred Construction sales experience is a strong plus Knowledge of construction materials and processes Experience with takeoffs, estimates, proposals, or project coordination is preferred Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills Goal-oriented and self-motivated Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple customers and projects Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems Base Salary starts at $52,000/year plus goal-based monthly commission structure.
