Overview The Assistant Golf Professional manages all aspects of the club's golf operation. This includes the golf shop, outside services, tournaments, and merchandising. Essential Responsibilities Assists the Head Golf Professional in planning, promoting and directing all golf activities Ability to interact and be involved with all parts of the organization and its employees Ability to manage all job-related activities such as golf tournaments, pace of play, merchandising and inventory, and staff members Assists guests, including but not limited to, tee time reservations, checking in, club information, golf rates, and club policies Ability to teach one on one lessons, group clinics, and junior golf camps Understands how to use the Point of Sale system Assists the Head Golf Professional with all tournament operations Knowledge of Golf Genius Tournament Software
