Job Title Cashier / Smoke Shop Sales Associate Job Overview Peach Smoke ATL is looking for a reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable Cashier / Smoke Shop Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with customers, operating a POS system, handling cash, and learning a variety of smoke-shop products. This position requires someone who is customer-service oriented, dependable, attentive to detail, and comfortable making product recommendations and upselling. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming store environment while accurately processing transactions and following all store policies and age-verification requirements. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service Operate the POS system accurately and efficiently Handle cash, debit/credit transactions, and customer change Follow proper cash-handling procedures and balance the register at the end of each shift Check customer identification and follow all age-verification requirements before selling age-restricted products Become knowledgeable about the products we carry, including: Vapes and disposable vapes Pre-rolls CBD/hemp-derived products Gummies and other edible products where applicable Hookah products Glass pieces and smoking accessories Rolling papers and accessories Other store merchandise Be able to explain basic product differences, features, sizes, flavors, and pricing to customers Recommend products based on customer needs and make appropriate upsell suggestions Keep shelves, displays, and merchandise organized and fully stocked Receive and organize inventory when deliveries arrive Help maintain accurate inventory and notify management when products are running low Keep the sales floor, counters, and displays clean and presentable Follow all store policies and procedures Handle customer questions, concerns, and transactions professionally Help create a positive environment that encourages customers to return What We're Looking For Previous cashier, retail, smoke-shop, or customer-service experience preferred Smoke-shop experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person Comfortable learning a variety of products and explaining them to customers Strong customer-service and communication skills Basic math skills and ability to accurately handle money Comfortable using a POS/register system Must be dependable and punctual Must be able to work independently when needed Must be comfortable checking IDs and enforcing age restrictions without exceptions Must be able to follow instructions and store policies Must be comfortable standing for extended periods and keeping the store organized Must be professional, friendly, and able to work well with customers and coworkers Knowledge Required The right candidate should be willing to learn and become familiar with: Different types of vape products and disposable vapes Pre-rolls and other smoking products CBD/hemp-derived products carried by the store Hookah products Glass pieces and accessories Rolling papers, wraps, filters, and related accessories Product pricing and promotions Store POS and inventory procedures Age verification and responsible sales practices Important Requirements Reliability is extremely important. We are looking for someone who shows up on time, communicates appropriately, follows their schedule, and takes their job seriously. No selling age-restricted products without properly verifying ID. No exceptions.

Compensation & Schedule Pay:

$12/hour

Payday:

Every Friday Part-time/full-time opportunities available depending on availability.

Weekend availability is a plus.
