Why You'll Want to Work Here Hands‐On Training You don't need prior hardware or retail experience, what matters most is a love of helping people and a great attitude. However, if you've worked in hardware or retail before, that experience will help you hit the ground running. Clear Path to Growth Many of our current leaders began in different roles and, by showing initiative and a willingness to learn, have worked their way into various positions, including management. Predictable Schedule We post schedules once a week in advance, and they rarely change so you can count on consistency. You'll work two weekday closing shifts and one weekend day each week, making it easier to plan around family, school, or other commitments.

Competitive Pay and Perks Wage Range:

$15.00-$17.50 per hour (depending on experience). Retirement Program Paid Vacation, Holiday, and Sick Days Bi-Annual Performance Bonus 45 Hour Fixed Schedule (posted one week in advance; rarely changes) Hands-On Training Program 15% Store Discount Company-Supplied Clothing What You'll Do Greet customers, listen to their needs, and recommend the right products or solutions (paint, plumbing supplies, décor, garden items, etc.). Move between departments—hardware, seasonal, paint, and garden, helping wherever the store needs you. Keep shelves stocked, displays neat, and signage accurate so customers can shop confidently. Occasionally assist at the register or help load items into customer vehicles. Who You Are You enjoy talking with people and finding practical solutions to their questions or problems. You learn new information quickly, ask questions when you're unsure, and aren't afraid to make small mistakes as you learn. You work well with others and help out in different areas of the store without waiting to be asked. You're reliable, showing up for your scheduled daily shifts. You can lift up to 50 lbs. safely and stay on your feet for most of an nine-hour shift.
