We are looking for a passionate and energetic Sales Associate to join our team and ensure every customer receives top-notch service while helping us create stunning floral designs.

Position Overview:

As a Floral clerk at Custenborder Florist , you will be working along side our designer as well as drivers and customers. You will be growing your skills in manage orders, answer phone calls, assist with daily operations, ensuring a seamless shopping experience for every customer.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Greet and assist customers with selecting flowers, gifts, and arrangements. Provide expert guidance on floral care, arrangement styles, and gift ideas.

Sales & POS System:

Use our POS system to accurately process sales transactions, handle cash and credit card payments, and issue receipts. Keep track of sales and inventory to ensure smooth operations.

Order Coordination:

Help manage incoming orders and ensure they are accurately communicated to the floral designers for timely creation. Assist with custom and special orders. Collaboration with

Designer:

Work closely with the floral designer to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled to specifications, and assist with managing inventory and delivery schedules.

Inventory Management:

Help maintain a well-organized inventory of flowers, plants, and accessories. Assist in restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels.

Store Maintenance:

Keep the shop clean, organized, and visually appealing, with special attention to flower displays and product arrangements.

Phone & Online Orders:

Assist customers over the phone or online with product inquiries, orders, and delivery requests.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in retail or customer service, especially in a flower shop or gift store, is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with customers and provide exceptional service. Experience using or willingness to learn a POS system. A passion for flowers and floral arrangements is highly desirable. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and stay organized. Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and have a positive attitude. Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasons (Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, etc.).

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs. Comfort handling fresh flowers and plants. Why Join Us?
