This is a career-track sales role: you'll build real product expertise, a loyal base of repeat and referral customers, and become a go-to resource for shoppers and teammates alike. About the Role A year into this role, you'll know our appliance and mattress lines inside and out. You'll have built a growing base of repeat and referral customers, and you'll be someone both shoppers and teammates turn to for answers on the sales floor. What You'll Do Greet customers on the showroom floor and become their trusted guide to appliances and mattresses Learn our product lines in depth so you can explain features, compare options, and recommend what actually fits a customer's needs and budget Promote and close sales on products, protection plans, and installation services Keep customers informed on pricing, financing options (including our Synchrony financing), and the status of pending orders Help inventory and unload appliance and mattress deliveries as needed Keep the showroom presentable and help manage warehouse stock Work a full-time schedule that includes weekends — we're open daily (closed Sundays) What We're Looking For Required Experience in retail, sales, or customer service Comfortable approaching and engaging customers on a busy showroom floor Able to lift and move appliances and mattresses as part of deliveries and stocking, with team support Available for a full-time schedule, including regular weekend shifts Basic comfort with point-of-sale systems and paperwork for financing and orders Preferred Experience selling big-ticket retail items such as appliances, furniture, electronics, or mattresses Familiarity with retail financing or credit programs Compensation & Benefits Base pay plus commission; year-one earnings for this role typically range from $40,000
