: Mornings Only Responsibilities Operate the cash register accurately, handling retail sales transactions with precision and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, including stocking shelves and merchandising displays. Handle cash drawer operations responsibly, ensuring proper cash handling and balancing at shift end. Assist with inventory management by stocking merchandise and participating in periodic stock counts. Use effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors over the phone. Support team members by supervising or mentoring new staff when needed, fostering a collaborative environment. Skills Proficiency in POS (Point of Sale) systems for processing transactions swiftly and accurately. Previous supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a retail setting. Ability to perform retail math confidently for cash handling and sales calculations. Strong communication skills to engage customers effectively and provide clear product information. Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs better. Knowledge of retail store products, merchandising techniques, and inventory procedures. Excellent phone etiquette combined with professional customer service skills. Experience with upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
