Duties Assist in supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system management Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets through effective coaching, training, and development Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory control to maximize sales opportunities Conduct employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting efforts, and onboarding processes to build a strong team foundation Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures Support shift management by coordinating schedules, supervising cashiering activities, and ensuring smooth operational flow Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries promptly and resolving issues efficiently Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry with supervisory responsibilities in sales teams Strong knowledge of POS systems, inventory management tools, and retail math for accurate pricing and stock control Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively through managerial communication techniques Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively Demonstrated skills in negotiation, purchasing, budgeting, and operational management to optimize store performance Experience with grocery or retail store product knowledge is a plus; familiarity with cashiering, cash handling, and phone etiquette is essential Organized with excellent time management skills; capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us as an Assistant Store Manager where your leadership fuels success!
