Salad Department Manager Position Summary :

The Salad Department Team Member is responsible for production; quality control; inventory control as delegated by the Salad Department Team Leader.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

Produce and maintain fresh and packaged salad inventory daily. Produce and maintain juice inventory daily, closely following recipes and in a timely manner for retail and wholesale. Maintain the highest level of quality control standards at all times, taking special care to follow handling standards for conventional and organic products. Maintain exceptional cleanliness in all production and stock areas, including careful maintenance and cleaning of commercial juicing equipment. Maintain exceptional cleanliness in all Salad production and stock areas. Assist in the training of Produce Team members. Provide exceptional customer service.

Other Duties & Responsibilities :

Answer department phone calls and take messages. Assist customers in all Departments as needed. Follow-up on Customer Requests as delegated. Other duties as assigned.

Special Considerations:

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly and 70 lbs occasionally. Working conditions include a fast-paced retail environment that involves long intervals of standing, crouching, and reaching while moving product. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures while performing work in backstock coolers. Occasional exposure to weather conditions while receiving products.
