Position Overview SIC is seeking motivated and dependable Shipping / Assembly Team Members to support our shipping operations while contributing across multiple production and assembly areas as needed. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, learning new skills, and being part of a collaborative manufacturing environment. Forklift operation is required for this role. While the primary focus will be in shipping and receiving, team members will be cross-trained and utilized in other departments based on production needs. Key Responsibilities Perform shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading materials Operate forklifts safely to move, stage, and store materials Prepare products and equipment for shipment Support assembly and production operations as needed Use hand and power tools to assist with assembly and packaging tasks Read and accurately use a tape measure Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow quality standards and safety procedures Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Skills Needed Forklift operation Basic use of hand and power tools Ability to read a tape measure Mechanical aptitude Strong communication skills Teamwork and independent work capability Flexibility to perform multiple job functions Knowledge Required Basic shipping and receiving processes Safe material handling practices Workplace safety standards Fundamental mechanical concepts Understanding of quality expectations in a manufacturing environment Ability to Implement Skills and Knowledge Apply forklift and material handling skills to support efficient shipping operations Learn new tasks quickly through hands-on training Adapt to changing production priorities Work reliably with minimal supervision Contribute positively to team productivity and morale Previous experience is preferred and will be compensated accordingly; however, it is not required. SIC provides on-the-job training for individuals who are eager to learn and grow.
