Store Manager Position Summary The Cashier/Sales Associate provides exceptional customer service, supports daily store operations, and helps drive sales through effective merchandising, inventory support, and cash handling. This role contributes to a positive shopping experience while ensuring store standards, loss prevention, and operational efficiency are maintained. Key Responsibilities Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and providing product recommendations. Process sales transactions accurately and maintain cash register accountability. Maintain knowledge of merchandise, promotions, and store programs. Assist with stocking, replenishment, receiving, merchandising, pricing, and display maintenance. Support store cleanliness and organization standards. Monitor the sales floor to help prevent loss and ensure a safe shopping environment. Follow organizational policies, procedures, and operational guidelines. Complete assigned tasks and other duties as needed to support store operations. Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills. Friendly, positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to operate point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications. Ability to read, write, and perform basic math calculations. Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and move throughout the store environment. Working Conditions Primarily indoor retail environment with occasional exposure to seasonal conditions. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
