Job Description
Super One Liquor-Crosby is seeking a customer-focused and reliable Liquor Store Clerk to join our team. We are looking for an energetic and trustworthy individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and has a passion for providing excellent service. Job responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting them with product selection. Operate the cash register, process transactions accurately, and handle cash, credit card payments, and returns. Check customer identification to verify age on every transaction. Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with incoming merchandise, rotating products to ensure freshness and proper arrangement. Assist with receiving and verifying incoming inventory shipments. Help maintain a clean, organized, and attractive store environment by performing regular cleaning duties. Inform customers of current promotions and sales. Open and close the store according to established procedures, including securing cash and daily receipts. Available to work holidays and weekends Qualifications and skills Prior experience in a retail, cashiering, or customer service role is a plus. Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform basic math accurately. Knowledge of different types of beer, wine, and liquor is helpful but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. Must be able to stand for extended periods. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Reliable, punctual, and a self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
