We are a buy, sell, trade store that encourages customers to reuse, rebuild and reimagine with LEGO elements. Employee is responsible for interacting with and helping customers in a sales capacity and conversationally while also carrying out a variety of shared retail activities required for daily operation. This job is primarily evening and weekend hours so please make sure you have availability during those times before applying.

HIGH LEVEL RESPONSIBILITIES

Contribute to a Fun and Friendly atmosphere that balanced with professionalism. Greeting, assisting, and engaging with customers when they enter the store and as they shop; answering questions and making recommendations; assisting customers with check-out; all while maintaining a positive, fun, and safe environment Leading by example with a high level of accountability and inspiring teamwork Maintaining sales floor and customer awareness to prevent product loss

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting customers in person and on the phone (requires a lot of standing) LEGO building/sorting/cleaning Participating in store opening and closing activities Preparing product (sorting, cleaning, building, repairing, packaging, and inventorying) Assisting with marketing / social media campaigns Knowledge, skills, & abilities Must be able to interact with customers- conversationally. We pride ourselves on building relationships with our customers and being able to help customers on a one and one basis. Excellent oral and written English communication required. Ability to be welcoming and approachable Highly organized with good quantitative abilities and attention to detail Able to consistently use good judgment in making business decisions, both big and small A strong desire to learn what needs to be done to successfully operate a small business Able to resolve conflict professionally to problem solve
