Duties Assist customers in selecting the right auto parts and accessories, leveraging your automotive repair and diagnostics knowledge. Provide detailed product information, including vehicle systems, mechanical troubleshooting, and inventory options to ensure customer satisfaction. Manage inventory control and parts management using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and inventory management software to maintain stock accuracy. Process sales transactions accurately through POS (Point of Sale) systems while handling cash, credit, and electronic payments with professionalism. Build strong customer relationships through effective communication, active listening, and personalized service to encourage repeat business. Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders efficiently, ensuring timely order fulfillment and stock replenishment. Maintain organized shelving, stocking, and merchandising of automotive parts and accessories to optimize sales space and product visibility. Skills Extensive knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, vehicle systems, and automotive repair processes. Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with automotive diagnostics expertise. Proven ability in negotiation and sales management to meet or exceed sales targets. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual abilities preferred) for diverse customer engagement. Familiarity with inventory management systems such as CMMS or similar software; experience with inventory control is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation purposes. Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math for accurate transaction processing. Customer relationship building skills paired with phone etiquette for effective client communication. Organizational skills necessary for stocking, order fulfillment, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth daily operations. Knowledge of dealership experience or retail sales environments is advantageous; familiarity with automotive service processes enhances performance.
