Duties Lead and supervise the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service. Manage daily store operations including inventory control, merchandising, stocking, and pricing strategies. Oversee employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team skills and product knowledge. Conduct interviewing, recruiting, and onboarding of new staff to build a strong, motivated team. Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management with accuracy. Implement operational procedures for purchasing, inventory management, and store maintenance to maximize efficiency. Monitor sales performance using retail math and management analytics; adjust strategies accordingly for continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies on cashiering, customer service standards, and safety protocols. Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales. Manage shift schedules, supervise staff during peak hours, and ensure smooth store operations at all times. Experience Proven management experience in retail environments with a focus on sales team supervision and operational oversight. Demonstrated success in recruiting, employee orientation, training & development within a retail setting. Strong background in inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and POS systems operation. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued. Prior experience with payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and basic math skills essential for daily operations. Familiarity with retail industry sales techniques such as negotiation and upselling; experience in wireless sales or grocery stores is a plus. Leadership qualities including team management, managerial communication skills, organizational skills, and time management expertise. Knowledge of retail management software tools for inventory control, purchasing systems, and operational reporting is preferred.
