Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to foster a welcoming atmosphere Assist customers in selecting jewelry pieces, offering product demos and detailed descriptions to highlight features and craftsmanship Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about jewelry care, materials, and styling tips Operate the cash register using POS (Point of Sale) systems for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell complementary items and accessories to enhance customer purchases and increase sales revenue Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented and replenished regularly Maintain accurate cash drawer handling, perform retail math calculations, and ensure proper cash register operations Support merchandising efforts by arranging jewelry displays in an appealing manner aligned with store standards Handle phone inquiries professionally with excellent phone etiquette, providing information or directing calls as needed Assist with inventory management, including stocking new products and conducting periodic stock checks Skills Proven experience in retail sales or grocery store environments with strong customer service skills Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math calculations Supervising experience is a plus; capable of guiding team members or trainees when needed Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers effectively Bilingual skills are highly desirable to communicate with diverse clientele Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette Knowledge of jewelry products or retail store product knowledge enhances customer interactions Strong merchandising skills for creating attractive displays that draw customer attention Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently Experience in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm for jewelry meets your talent for sales!
