Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting plants, gardening supplies, lawn care products, and outdoor equipment. Provide expert advice on plant identification, horticulture techniques, floral design, and landscape maintenance to ensure customer satisfaction. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling and transactions, including cashiering duties and retail math calculations. Maintain organized merchandising displays, stock shelves efficiently, and ensure the store is clean and inviting. Support inventory management by stocking new products, conducting stock checks, and assisting with inventory counts. Engage with customers via phone communication to answer questions about products or services and provide guidance on outdoor work projects. Assist with outdoor work tasks such as lawn care, gardening projects, or landscape maintenance when required. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred; outdoor work experience is a plus. Knowledge of horticulture, plant identification, floral design, or landscaping enhances your ability to assist customers effectively. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a valuable asset for serving diverse communities. Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and retail math ensures smooth transactions. Passion for gardening, outdoor work, or horticulture demonstrates your enthusiasm for the role. Excellent organizational skills for merchandising, stocking, and maintaining store presentation. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform POS functions confidently.
