Job Summary Join our vibrant retail team as a Retail Sales Associate, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help customers find the perfect products to enhance their needs. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist with product selection, and maintain an inviting store atmosphere. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and identify their needs related to lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and floral design. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for cash handling and transactions; manage retail math calculations efficiently. Stock shelves, organize displays, and merchandise products to create an attractive shopping environment. Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and organizing supplies for easy access. Provide knowledgeable guidance on horticulture topics and seasonal plant care to enhance customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, ensuring all products are properly labeled and accessible. Skills Strong communication skills in English; ability to engage with diverse customers in multiple languages is a plus. Experience with POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and retail math for smooth transactions. Excellent organizational skills for stocking, merchandising, and maintaining store displays. Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to listen actively and provide tailored advice. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
