Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Boutique Sales Associate to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and support daily store operations. This role offers an opportunity to engage with customers, promote our merchandise, and contribute to a welcoming shopping environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience Assist customers with product selection, offering knowledgeable recommendations and upselling where appropriate Operate Shopify POS systems for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring products are well-stocked and properly labeled Manage stock levels by assisting with stocking shelves and inventory counts Support store operations by ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and inviting Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional etiquette and effective communication skills Assist in supervising or mentoring new team members when necessary Requirements Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in a grocery or specialty store environment Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math skills Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is desirable Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills are essential Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail transactions Demonstrated ability to upsell products and enhance sales performance Knowledge of grocery store operations is beneficial but not required
