MrMaple.com is a mail-order Japanese Maple nursery in East Flat Rock, NC that ships small plants directly to the customer. As a small family business, we employee nearly 25 employees who are extremely important to us. We would love to have you on our team. Our media team consists of numerous individuals that have the primary responsibility of filming and editing our daily videos and weekly podcast for the MrMaple Show on YouTube, which also air on f aacebook and other platforms. The primary focus on these videos are Japanese maples. Your job may consist of work trips to our farm in Gaston, Oregon for filming, but will primarily be based out of our East Flat Rock location. We currently use, sony A74, dji maverick pro 2 drones, and dji osmos cameras for filming and use Final Cut Pro for editing videos. Experience with these are a plus, but not required. Your secondary job would be assist with shipping Japanese maples. Also you may be working on potting small trees into larger containers. Most potting is potting small liners into 1 gallon nursery containers. This position could be doing numerous other jobs around the nursery with other team members from unloading trucks and pulling weeds. While editing videos is the primary job, it is important that someone also enjoy working outside in nursery. Attention to detail is a must. Must be able to lift 70lbs. Must enjoy working in plants. A love for plants and gardening is a plus.
