About the Role bb.q Chicken is opening a new location inside the Clohan Hall food court at Elon University. We're hiring Crew Members to help us serve fresh, high-quality food to students, faculty, and staff in a fast-paced campus setting. You'll be the friendly face welcoming guests and keeping the counter running smoothly, as part of a team that values cleanliness, teamwork, and efficiency.

Elon University, Clohan Hall, North O'Kelly Avenue, Elon, NC 27244 (in person) Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide quick, friendly service Take orders and process sales accurately on the POS system Handle cash, credit, and other payments with care Answer questions about the menu and suggest additional items Keep the counter, dining area, and front-of-house clean and organized Help stock supplies and packaging at the service area Work closely with kitchen staff and teammates to keep orders moving Answer phone inquiries politely when needed Follow the direction of the Shift Manager and store policies Help train new team members when needed Qualifications Cashier, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred (1 year of restaurant experience is a plus) Familiarity with POS systems is a plus Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Ability to do basic math for transactions and cash counts Bilingual ability is a plus Food Handler certification may be required depending on local requirements, acquired at your expense May be required to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally Reliable attendance and punctuality Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to pass a background check Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Employee meal Flexible schedule
