Responsibilities Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process retail sales transactions swiftly and efficiently Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cash drawer management, and balancing registers at shift end Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with product questions, offering product demos, and guiding them through their purchase decisions Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales and improve customer satisfaction Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing through effective merchandising Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Assist in inventory management by stocking new products and participating in stock counts as needed Experience Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key Supervising experience is a plus, especially in guiding new team members or managing customer interactions during busy periods Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve our diverse customer base effectively Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions Strong communication skills to engage confidently with customers and team members Knowledge of retail store product lines and merchandising techniques to enhance the shopping experience Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
