Evening, closing, late-night, and weekend availability required About Campus Town Grill Campus Town Grill is a family-owned, fast-casual HMS Halal Mediterranean & American Grill located in Campus Town at The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) in Ewing, NJ. We are looking for a dependable Late Night Restaurant Crew Member who is comfortable working evening and closing shifts and can help keep both the front and back of the restaurant operating smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who is flexible, hardworking, organized, and willing to be cross-trained in both FOH and BOH responsibilities. Position Summary The Late Night Crew Member supports the restaurant during evening and closing operations. You will work across both the Front of House and Back of House , including customer service, Toast POS, order packaging, food preparation, dishwashing, cleaning, restocking, and closing duties. The most important requirement is reliability and availability for evening, late-night, closing, and weekend shifts. Front of House Responsibilities Provide friendly and professional customer service Take customer orders Operate Toast POS Process payments accurately Prepare and package takeout and delivery orders Work expo and check order accuracy Maintain dining room cleanliness Wipe tables, chairs, counters, and trays Clean restrooms Restock sauces, utensils, napkins, bags, containers, and other supplies Sweep and mop Remove trash Keep customer-facing areas organized Back of House Responsibilities Assist with kitchen preparation Perform basic food preparation Assist cooks during busy periods Portion and organize ingredients Help with food storage and labeling Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils Clean and sanitize kitchen work areas Clean assigned kitchen equipment Restock kitchen supplies Keep refrigerators, storage areas, and prep areas organized Closing Responsibilities Closing team members are responsible for leaving the restaurant clean, organized, stocked, and ready for the next operating day.
Closing duties may include:
Complete FOH and BOH closing checklists Clean and sanitize work areas Clean assigned kitchen equipment Wash dishes and utensils Clean dining room Clean restrooms Sweep and mop floors Remove trash Restock supplies Organize kitchen and storage areas Properly store food Label/date food as required Ensure stations are ready for the next day Cross-Training This position requires flexibility. You will be trained in both FOH and BOH functions, including: Customer service Toast POS Order taking Expo Order packaging Dining room maintenance Restocking Basic food preparation Dishwashing Kitchen cleaning Food storage Closing procedures We are looking for people who are willing to help wherever needed. This is not a single-task position.
Qualifications Required:
Restaurant, retail, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred Reliable and punctual Comfortable working evening and late-night shifts Comfortable performing closing and cleaning duties Able to work independently Able to work as part of a team Strong work ethic Positive and professional attitude Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods Able to lift approximately 25-40 lbs Available for 35-40 hours per week Evening, closing, late-night, and weekend availability required

Previous restaurant experience Toast POS experience Kitchen experience Food preparation experience Dishwashing/closing experience Previous experience working late-night restaurant shifts Schedule This position is specifically designed to provide coverage during: Dinner Evening Closing Late-night Weekends Candidates who are only available during daytime hours will not be a strong match for this position.
