Duties Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and swiftly. Handle cash register operations including cash handling, balancing the cash drawer, and issuing receipts. Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions, and assisting with product selections. Conduct product demos when needed to showcase features and benefits to customers. Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase store sales. Maintain professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or via online inquiries. Support merchandising efforts by arranging displays and ensuring products are correctly labeled and stocked. Assist in inventory management by participating in stock counts and replenishing items as necessary. Promote store promotions and loyalty programs to maximize sales opportunities. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Supervising experience is a plus, especially if it involved training or mentoring team members. Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math is highly desirable. Bilingual skills are not required, but helpful for serving diverse customer bases effectively. Strong communication skills combined with excellent phone etiquette will help you connect with customers confidently.
