Responsibilities:
Design and create high-quality floral arrangements for everyday orders, special events, holidays, weddings, and other occasions. Lead daily floral production and ensure arrangements meet our quality and presentation standards. Work independently while managing multiple floral orders and deadlines. Select and properly condition flowers, greenery, and other floral products. Create arrangements in a variety of styles, including traditional, modern, romantic, seasonal, and custom designs. Assist customers with floral selections and provide knowledgeable recommendations based on their needs and budget. Take and prepare floral orders accurately, including custom orders and special requests. Help coordinate and prioritize daily floral workflow. Train, guide, and support other floral team members when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked floral workspace. Monitor floral inventory and communicate supply needs to management. Ensure proper care, handling, hydration, and storage of fresh flowers to maintain quality and longevity. Assist with merchandising and maintaining attractive floral displays. Provide excellent customer service and represent the business professionally. Maintain consistent attention to detail, creativity, and quality in every arrangement.
Qualifications:
Previous professional floral design experience required. Strong knowledge of fresh flowers, greenery, floral mechanics, and design techniques. Ability to create attractive, balanced, and professional floral arrangements. Strong knowledge of flower care, conditioning, and handling. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Leadership experience or the ability to confidently guide and support other floral staff. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak floral seasons as needed.
