• Full-time Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers while driving sales and maintaining store standards. Duties Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling cash register transactions accurately. Assist in managing inventory, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays. Utilize retail math skills to process sales transactions and manage cash handling responsibilities effectively. Promote products through upselling techniques, enhancing the overall customer experience. Supervise junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor to create an inviting shopping environment. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience operating cash registers is advantageous. Basic understanding of retail math concepts to assist in sales transactions. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
