Budtender Simply Green Cannabis Dispensary Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the cannabis industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to educate customers about our products. This role involves assisting customers in selecting products, managing sales transactions, and maintaining a welcoming retail environment. Bilingual abilities and prior retail experience are highly valued. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance based on their needs and preferences Educate customers on product features, effects, and usage through product demos and detailed explanations Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Upsell products by recommending additional items that enhance customer satisfaction and sales volume Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product visibility Conduct inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment to ensure product availability Uphold phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or scheduling appointments Assist with store cleanliness, including tidying shelves and maintaining a welcoming retail environment Supervise or assist with product demos to educate customers about new or featured products Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations related to cannabis sales Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising, stock management, and retail math principles Demonstrated customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette Experience in supervising or leading team members is advantageous Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and inventory management Knowledge of cannabis products is preferred but not required; training will be provided for industry-specific knowledge Must be at least 21 years old (or as mandated by local regulations) Join our team as a Budtender and play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while expanding your knowledge within the cannabis retail industry.
