Duties Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences and needs, offering detailed product demos when appropriate Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cash drawer management Educate customers about product features, effects, and proper usage to promote responsible consumption Upsell products by recommending complementary items and informing customers of ongoing promotions or new arrivals Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented through effective merchandising techniques Conduct product demos to showcase new or featured items, enhancing customer engagement and sales opportunities Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory levels, and stock replenishment activities Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when assisting remote or follow-up inquiries from customers or vendors Support store operations by supervising team members when needed and assisting with training on retail procedures Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles, preferably with supervisory responsibilities or team leadership experience Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math calculations for transactions and inventory management Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer bases effectively Knowledge of cannabis products, including strain types, consumption methods, and industry regulations is preferred but not required—training will be provided Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and professionalism Basic math skills for balancing cash drawers and performing retail calculations confidently Passion for delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly, energetic attitude Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise as needed, and work flexible hours including weekends or evenings Join us as a Budtender and become part of an innovative industry that's growing rapidly!
