Overview Join our dynamic team as a Cashier/Sales Associate and become the friendly face that welcomes customers into our retail environment! This energetic role combines customer service excellence with sales expertise, ensuring shoppers have a positive experience while helping them find the products they need. As a key contributor to our store's success, you'll handle transactions, assist with product demonstrations, and maintain an inviting shopping atmosphere. Whether you're engaging customers in bilingual conversations or upselling featured items, your enthusiasm will drive sales and foster loyalty. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for checkout transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Assist customers with product demos and answer questions about merchandise to boost sales and product knowledge Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store looks inviting and organized Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales opportunities Manage inventory by conducting stock checks and assisting with inventory replenishment Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support team members by supervising during peak hours and helping train new staff on POS procedures and customer service protocols Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for accurate transactions Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, to connect effectively with diverse customers Experience in supervising or leading a team is a plus but not mandatory; leadership qualities are valued Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physical tasks related to stocking and merchandising Knowledge of customer service best practices, including phone etiquette and conflict resolution skills A proactive attitude with a passion for delivering outstanding shopping experiences Embark on a rewarding career where your energy makes a difference!
