Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and identify their needs related to gardening, landscaping, floral design, and outdoor maintenance Provide expert advice on plant identification, horticulture techniques, lawn care, and landscape maintenance to help customers achieve their outdoor goals Assist with merchandising by organizing stock, stocking shelves, and ensuring displays are attractive and accessible Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering and cash handling transactions Support floral design projects and seasonal displays to enhance store presentation Maintain organized inventory records, perform stock checks, and assist with inventory management using retail math skills Communicate effectively with customers via phone or in person to answer questions about products or services Support outdoor work activities such as plant care, landscape maintenance tasks, or gardening projects as needed Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service within a garden center, hardware store, or outdoor retail environment is preferred Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture, floral design, and plant identification is highly desirable Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions Outdoor work experience including gardening or landscaping enhances your ability to assist customers effectively Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and merchandising displays efficiently Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude Passion for gardening, plants, outdoor environments, and helping customers create beautiful spaces Join us to inspire our customers' outdoor projects with your knowledge and enthusiasm!
