This is an entry level position with training provided. The attendants will provide a friendly and congenial atmosphere with excellent service for the members and guests of the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club. The attendants should have an outgoing personality with an impeccable sense of attention to detail and anticipation of members' and guests' needs and expectations. The attendants will ensure the constant cleanliness of the locker room spaces, restrooms, lounge areas, and shoe shine counter. The attendants should provide professional and responsible care with the shoes and other belongings of the members and guests. Responsibilities Uphold a sense of member security with regards to personal property of members, guests, and coworkers Greet members and guests by name when possible and in a friendly manner Make sure all shoes are shined and have a professional, clean look to them Check the showers and vanities hourly and make sure all items are stocked and organized according to the locker room standard defined by the locker room manager Be able to take food and beverage orders when needed Ensure guests are welcome and that a locker is assigned to them Consistently monitor the floor and be alert to any members and guests in the locker room Offer members and guests' refreshment, bar service, or anything else you may be able to get them Anticipate the needs and wants of members and guests Ensure all shoes are properly tagged and returned to the correct locker at the end of each day Adhere to the opening and closing duties for each position daily Maintain clean and organized storage spaces Accurately requisition an appropriate amount product each day for service Maintain a professional appearance with a clean uniform, name tag, and adhering to all personal hygiene according to the employee handbook. When possible place all shoes in a club shoe bag before returning to the member or guest Arrange for valet services; laundry, shoe care, and auto detail Skills Ability to maintain member and guest confidentiality Must possess honesty and integrity Treat others with kindness and respect Maintain a professional attitude at all times Create a memorable experience by providing the highest level of service to our members and guests Ability to provide an impeccable attention to detail to all shoes and member property
