Job Overview We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting the right products for their needs. Your expertise in cannabis products, combined with your strong communication skills, will help create a welcoming and informative environment for our clientele. Responsibilities Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs Provide product demonstrations and educate customers about various strains, consumption methods, and effects Maintain an organized and visually appealing display of merchandise through effective merchandising techniques Process transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring efficient cashiering and cash handling Stock shelves and ensure that inventory levels are maintained to meet customer demand Upsell products by recommending complementary items during customer interactions Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support in daily operations Uphold excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred Familiarity with basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations Experience with POS systems is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers, including bilingual candidates Knowledge of cannabis products and their effects is beneficial but not mandatory; training will be provided Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Supervisory experience is an advantage for candidates looking to take on leadership roles within the team Must Have a Valid OLCC Card Join us as we provide our community with quality cannabis products while fostering a friendly and knowledgeable atmosphere!
