Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Marijuana Budtender, where your passion for cannabis and dedication to exceptional customer service will shine! In this dynamic role, you'll serve as a knowledgeable guide for customers exploring our wide selection of cannabis products. Your energetic approach will help educate, recommend, and upsell products to enhance each customer's experience. With your strong communication skills and product expertise, you'll create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits and builds lasting relationships. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide outstanding customer service with enthusiasm and professionalism Educate customers about different cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories Conduct product demonstrations and explain usage instructions clearly to ensure safe and informed consumption Assist customers in selecting products based on their preferences, needs, and experience levels Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Maintain an organized and visually appealing retail space through merchandising and stocking efforts Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and reporting low stock or discrepancies Follow all safety protocols, including proper cash handling procedures and compliance with state regulations Handle customer inquiries via phone with professional etiquette, providing information or directing calls appropriately Support product demos at promotional events or in-store tastings to educate customers about new offerings Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably within grocery stores or similar retail environments Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math skills Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain product features and benefits Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities are desirable for team support roles Knowledge of cannabis products, industry regulations, and safety standards is preferred but not required—training will be provided Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage customers professionally over the phone or in person Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, stocking shelves, and conducting visual inspections Experience in merchandising, product demos, upselling techniques, and store organization is highly valued Join us in shaping the future of cannabis retail!
