Retail Merchandising & Customer Service Assistant We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Retail Merchandising & Customer Service Assistant to support our merchandising team and provide backup coverage for customer service needs in the showroom. This role is ideal for someone with a strong eye for presentation who enjoys keeping a fast-paced retail environment organized, stocked, and customer-ready. You'll assist with product displays, signage, inventory organization, and day-to-day showroom upkeep while stepping in to greet and assist customers when needed. Responsibilities Assist the Retail Merchandiser with implementing product displays, signage, promotions, and seasonal merchandising plans. Keep merchandise organized, stocked, priced, labeled, and displayed according to company standards. Help maintain showroom cleanliness, visual appeal, and product availability. Conduct routine checks of displays, inventory levels, and signage; report issues or needed replenishment to management. Assist with product moves, receiving, stocking, tagging, and organizing backstock. Help create or update signs and promotional materials; Adobe Illustrator experience is a plus. Provide backup customer service coverage by greeting customers, assisting with basic questions, and helping direct them to the appropriate sales team member. Assist with customer check-in, store pickup, returns, phone calls, and other front-end needs as assigned. Support store events, vendor days, and special promotions. Complete assigned administrative tasks and maintain accurate records when needed. Qualifications Retail, customer service, merchandising, or inventory experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and an eye for clean, attractive product presentation. Comfortable working on your feet and moving, lifting, and organizing merchandise throughout the day. Friendly, professional communication skills and a willingness to assist customers. Ability to manage multiple tasks, follow direction, and work well as part of a team. Experience with POS systems, cash registers, signage creation, or Adobe Illustrator is a plus, but not required.
