Inside Specification Sales Associate We are seeking a self-motivated, eager to learn, team player to work in the sales support department of our lighting agency. The primary role of this individual will be a resource to the outside sales team members, taking on tasks such as fixture selection, pricing, client correspondence, sample coordination, and lighting application support. This role serves the outside sales team to allow them to stay in front of their customers and keep the sales process moving.

Responsibilities:

• Reading specifications and architectural drawings
• Continuous learning and training on our lighting products and technologies.
• Flexibility to serve others when needed at times outside of your assigned role
• Using basic Blue Beam/ Adobe PDF software to open documents, read drawings and modify and markup documents
• Gather and test samples for the outside sales team as needed
• Communicate with sales members within the agency to coordinate the successful execution of projects
• Be open and willing to dive in to help others when needed in tasks that are not always in your scope
• Understand and analyze lighting calculations
• Almost exclusively in office work with no outside sales required

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of the electrical industry is required
• Knowledge of lighting is required
• Knowledge of AGI32 Software or similar lighting software is required
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is required
• Proficient in understanding 3-dimensional space in architecture; a design background is preferred.
• Possess the ability to anticipate next steps when communicating with colleagues and customers
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Open minded and positive demeanor to work in a high activity, fast paced culture

Full-time Pay:

$75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
