Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience Assist customers with product information, demonstrations, and upselling to maximize sales opportunities Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, returns, and exchanges Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store is visually appealing through effective merchandising and stocking Handle cash transactions with proper cash handling procedures and maintain accurate cash register balances Support product demos and educate customers on features to boost sales and satisfaction Maintain excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors Collaborate with team members to ensure the store runs smoothly during the opening phase, including supervising new staff as needed Use strong communication skills to coordinate tasks and provide clear instructions in a bilingual environment if applicable Qualifications Previous retail sales or grocery store experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership potential in team settings Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math skills Ability to perform cashiering duties accurately while providing friendly customer service Experience conducting product demos and upselling techniques to enhance sales performance Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities (preferred) Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and grocery store operations is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods, lift merchandise, and work in a fast-paced environment Embark on this exciting journey with us!
